Initially i thought World Issues : In Singapore Perspective (WISP) is a lame module.

but after monday's lesson content..

i beg to differ.

1) 10 women in Africa are raped every day?
2) The Rwanda genocide (1994), tt happened over a span of 100 days, left 1,000,000 people dead?
3) The UN failed to intervene to stop the genocide, when they cld have, thus causing the massacre to happen?

he's the meanest tutor ever.

i went to clarify w him regarding my attendance in a nice tone (cus i received warning email alr)

but, he replied to me in such a mean n sarcastic tone.

(and he was like chasing me out of class after i clarified)

apart from my lateness tt he marks me absent..

he dont even blive tt i REALLY TRUELY have an mc for my only one-time absence.

(i swear i was really damn sick tt my doctor wants me to stay away from ppl, and gave me 2 days mc)

point is..

does he even need to?

in any case, im just a student.

if he dislikes me, he can always give me low participation marks, mark me down @ proj etc.

Yeah! 2008 is here! =DDD

Anyways, have been reflecting myself alot lately.
Roller coaster rides made me teared alot previously.
But im now a stronger self, determined to overcome anything n everything! =)
Friends tt stood by me really encouraged and enlightened me alot. THANKS!
Neglected some friends due to my schedule.
But! It feels really gd to know tt im not forgotten! And, they miss me!

Its really not easy to juggle so many things.
It hurts to know my friend got injured due to a fall. Take care!

This post is dedicated to all the MARVELLOUS ppl i met in 2007! =DD

The MOST wonderful thing in 2007 to me is tt im able to join UP and HR crew! This grp of ppl is my current new love! HAHAS =D Lotsa interesting individuals inside - all-in-one bao, giraffe n mini giraffe, candy (tts her real name thou), fan bai yan KING mark, burping QUEEN vanessa, drama queen karen etc. LOLS! Anyways, the main pt is, i can really feel the warmth from UP & HR every sec we're tgt! The gathering of all the funny ppl is really the BEST MATCH! I must really say tt we're a whole grp of VIBRANT, ENERGETIC & ENTHUSIASTIC YOUTHS! Im nt being complacent, but just what i really feel from the bottom of my heart. And the 40 peeps tt formed UP is really the best arrangement from ghz! =) and YAYA! You're the most compassionate, caring, detailed and understanding person from UP! Its great knowing you before u graduate to WD-hood. HEHES =)

Despite me being busy w chingay towards the second half of 2007, I still have wonderful friends around tt really stood by me, encouraging me whenever im down. THANK YOU!

'Surviving' in a big dance club is definitely an arduous task (to me that is). 'Surviving' to me, meant that I've gotta improve, get chances to perform in all kind of genres and go for competitions. Right now, i've only made lil improvements, and get to perform (but not in many diff genres).

Yes, I felt head over heels when i got complimented tday! And definitely great to know that I've improved over this one plus year, thru Ann's mouth. BUT, there's still a long way for me to go, and Im learning to take +ve and -ve comments. I'll definitely work even harder, to get Ann's recognition, and to break free from the ballet shell. As compared to others, I need to put in double effort!! Thank DOLLS, for the constant encouragements to not give up and cont to work hard (:

Just a very quick update on Sat & Sunday's performance @ Grand Opening for AMK Hub. Although majority of the audience were uncles and aunties, but i believe our performance was widely commended =) Thru this performance, I really really felt tt all of us had improved greatly over this 1yr. And again, I feel tt I have to put in much much more effort than others for I've been lagging behind way too much. Anyways, Sunday's performance was really great (sat's perf was so not nra's standard) Lastly, I gotta thank Jia Qi who came down specially to support me! Had so much fun with the freshies and realised that they are a whole lot of fun people =D

Had Pepper Lunch w Hannah, Choy, Paul and Edmund on Sat for dinner. The 2 guys Hannah's friend n friend's friend respectively. hahahas! But anyways, they are fun people. Caught Rouge Assassin after dinner. Its an action movie by the name. But our dear choy was tearing cus of the killing scenes. Man..i really got a shock, for a second..i dont know wat to do. Hannah was kinda laughing too loud in the cinema. (oops..) And i nearly fell aslp in the middle of the movie..too physically tired. Hahahas! Agree with Hanny tt the twist in the story was creative, but i felt the storyline rounding about the 'horse' was somewhat lame. As in, none of us understood why the 'horse' is worth tt many lives and money.

falling sick during exams is just so NOT the right time (okay, like when's the right time yea?) its so irritating to cough every few mins during revision cus i developed a cough over the night. thanks to the blocked nose med, i got a running nose instead. i think i shocked my kids during lesson tday, cus of my voice. my voice sounded nasal & hoarse for the whole of tday =((

Ytd had a post MilkRun Mass Dance celebration with my trainers, Ting Ting & Louis (the overall i/c) Had lunch at Tong Shui Cafe tts located @ Tan Quee Lan street. Food was quite okay. Oh, and we (choreos & trainers) didnt had to pay a single cent, cus Ting Ting & Louis foot the bill. Thanks! I can suddenly feel the strong bond with my trainers ytd. well, MilkRun have finally ended. so does the Milk Run Mass Dance.

first entry after CT. feel so relieved at the moment, till i get back my results. not absolutely confident bout getting gd results, but it wldnt be too bad i guess? anw, been shopping and spending money like water. but its so uncontrollable cus u see sales everywhere u go. and i simply love my strawberries havaianas! *muacks my new darling! and so i've tot of a good idea - go shopping with my mum! anw, was freaking tired before and after climbing bt timah hill tday morning, cus i slept like what 3 hrs ytd? i cant believe i chatted with my bro for 3hrs ytd midnight. so much of the stuffs for these 2 yrs. and i believe i've grown from these. but, i still need to learn alot from ppl.

Im gonna be a good girl this week. So u guys wldnt see me online this week. Alright, i know u guys will miss me. realised tearing is a gd way to cool myself down. kinda teared during dance tday cus i missed thur's prac. and i was totally blur during the first 30mins of dance. luckily got choy darling! she's always there to console and never ever fail to encourage me at dance. i love her totally! perhaps, i was too stressed up tday. anw, my mood swings damn fast. so i can b crying now yet uber happy at another second. anw, tis is my choy darling. she's a nice girl, any gd guys interested in her, tell me yea. i really felt v.v.v. helpless during dance recently, be it nra/ballet. its like, i bloody hell wanna push myself to get to another level. i bloody hell wanna improve tremendously in dance. BUT i just felt so helpless! guys, u know Li Bu Cong Xin? i felt exactly this way!! stupid back of mine, got bruised and sprained recently, and ankles are really too weak for point shoes.

aww, i hate grumpy posts. but just let me grumpy here, cus no1 understands the pain im gg thru. i know the recent posts are all on my injuries, i tink it'll cont till the sept concert ends. i've been slacking for too many yrs, which explains my current injuries.

its really time to pull myself back! :D

aww...sprained both of my ankles during dance rehearsal ytd (1 May). guess they're really weak and perhaps the reason as to why i always sprain them? realised my right knee is weak as well. sitting down for just 15mins and more, doing nth, and my right knee hurts. lack of lubrication, perhaps? my back hurts too.

oh wells, am i too old or do i not know the right way to look after my body? or is it none/both?
